Gotta love West Nashville

Actually got into work a bit early this morning and was greeted with a loud snap… followed by a louder crash. A second or so later… power failure at the office. The lights came back on in a couple of minutes and as I looked out on my beloved Charlotte Ave. this was the scene…

car hits telephone pole

car drives into telephone pole… snapping it off like a twig…

Car hits side of building

then car proceeds approx. one block east on charlotte until it finds the side of a building…

Pat and I are not too proud to admit that we took a little stroll down Charlotte to check it all out and snap a few pics. The gentlemen driving the car appeared to be in good condition following the mid morning stunt show.

That’s so West Nashville. Always drama, always.

Oh please. East Nashville can probably give West Nashville a run for its money on weird drama.

Still – impressive, though. The pole would have been enough, but to also go for the building…the guy gets points for that.

Take it from the West Side Killaz…East Nashville has NOTHING on West Nasty.

Killaz, shmillaz. I doubt it, Jad. From what I’ve seen so far, compared to where a lot of you live, I live in the ghetto…though technically, I live in Inglewood, not East Nashville.

Saw that on the way to work today. What I hate about that is the idiots who stop driving to look at what is going on.

Congrats on Baby Singleton!!!!! I am so happy for you two. Now I won’t have to worry about you guys being sick of all our kids being around–you’ll have one of your own to sick of!! Joking of course. You are going to be great parents and you have the advantage of having lots of friends who have paved the way. You hit the jackpot on advice whenever you need it!

One of the hundreds of sirens that I heard today outside of the office door. We could totally host a reality tv show right from our window.
