    hogan – deserves mention – i was obsessed with him until he went to the dark side. lost all credibility to me. i cried until his reality TV show came on.

    I love Ricky Steamboat. However, can I point out that the one thing that made him so great was his constant fued and high flying matches with Randy Savage. Some of the greatest matches to watch of all time. It was before high flying was the cool thing to do.

    My age will show again with this one….the first match I saw in person was Johnny Valentine vs Ken Patera…I was a wee lad at the time and a neighbor took me and his grandson…I’ve been hooked ever since. But I admit it less to my 12 year old.
